Being in the heart

We often speak of « being in the heart ».

But what does this mean in practical terms?

For me, being in the heart doesn’t mean always being zen.

It’s not about agreeing with everyone.

It’s not smiling when it hurts.

Being in the heart is an inner posture.

A way of living life.

It means coming back to yourself before reacting.

To be in the heart is to create a bond

It means accepting that we are deeply connected to each other.

That what I say, what I do, has an impact.

It’s really looking at someone.

Not just with your eyes.

But with presence.

In my sessions, I often see:

when you feel seen, listened to, welcomed… something inside you relaxes.

The heart is that space where the link becomes simple.

Genuine.

True.

To be in the heart is to love differently

To love from the heart is not to forget oneself.

It’s not about accepting everything.

It’s about loving while keeping your spine.

It means being able to say:

« I love you… and I respect myself. »

The heart is not weak.

He’s a brave man.

He knows how to say yes.

He knows how to say no.

To be in the heart is to share

Sharing an emotion.

A doubt.

A truth.

To be in the heart is to dare to be human.

With its strengths.

With its frailties.

It’s not about impressing.

It’s about creating a connection.

To be in the heart is to understand without judging

When you breathe deeply, when you slow down…

we realize that everyone carries an invisible story.

To be in the heart is to listen beyond words.

It means letting go of the need to be right.

It means choosing understanding over fighting.

The heart has all the colors

There’s sweetness.

But also firmness.

Joy.

Sadness.

Healthy anger.

Forgiveness.

Being in the heart doesn’t mean avoiding emotions.

It means crossing them without closing yourself off.

In my world, being in the heart…

It’s breathing before answering.

It’s feeling your body before you speak.

It’s coming back to breath when everything’s in turmoil.

It means accepting that we’re not perfect.

But to be true.

Every day, I choose to come back here.

Center.

Breathing.

In the heart.

What about you?

Where are you today with your heart?
